My father is a real-estate developer and business management entrepreneur, so I have been around construction, from apartments to commercial property to homes, all my life. I was born in St. Louis, Mo., where my father went to graduate school to study architecture at Washington University, and I was raised in Houston, Texas. I attended Westfield High School and then moved on to Texas A&M University in College Station to study business marketing and management.

After college, I moved to Southern California, where my family now lives. I married Kevin Ding, whom you might have seen on TV doing studio appearances for Spectrum SportsNet in his role as senior writer for the Los Angeles Lakers.

We have three girls: Sedona is our older daughter, and Maven is 19 months younger. Arden joined us 10 years after Maven, adding a new light to all of our lives. Sedona is thoughtful and has an amazing heart. Maven is spunky, sweet and savvy. You’ll find us frequently at area softball fields watching our daughters play ball!
