Maggie put our house on the market within days of us making the decision to sell. Our house hit the market right before Christmas & it still sold for full asking price (with more than one offer) within 3 weeks. We were buying contingent on the sale of our property, so there were lots of balls in the air & she was exceptionally diligent in making sure that everyone was on the same page & doing their job on time - i.e., lenders, escrow agents, inspectors, realtors on all ends. We were in a 30-day escrow for sale and purchase, so things were all on quick turnaround times. With today's lenders cracking down, it was not an easy feat. Maggie also helped us buy our dream house for less than asking price (& we would have paid quite a bit more than asking price). We were all moved in less than 2 months after we originally put our house up for sale. Everyone says that buying and selling a home is one of life's most stressful events. Maggie helped us both sell our first home and buy our second home - and she was outstanding! In selling our home she helped us in staging it and identifying small areas of home improvement that would go a long way towards selling (which then resulted in us selling the house in a bidding war for more than we had hoped for with only one weekend of showing). In buying our house, she was very patient, showed us lots of options, and ultimately helped us get the house we plan to retire in for $100k less than asking. As first time home buyers, my husband and I had no idea where to start when it came to finding a real estate agent, so we figured if Yelp had rarely led us astray with food choices, it might be a solid place to begin our search for someone to help us spend all the money we have in the world and then some. :) In total, we interviewed four real estate agents. We met three in a row in person and had a phone call with Maggie later the same day. Even by phone Maggie blew the others out of the water and impressed us from the start. We could not have purchased a single family home in Manhattan Beach if it hadn't been for Maggie's persistence, dedication, patience, diligence, hard work, professionalism, knowledge and expertise. With an MB real estate market these days that sees decent properties go pending in just a matter of days, we had pretty much abandoned any hope of finding a property in MB that would fit our needs. But Maggie would not allow us to give up; she continued with the search to find us a desirable MB property and was successful in getting our offer accepted despite a tense multiple offer situation - all due to her tireless efforts and fabulous negotiation skills. My ears perk up whenever I hear people talk about buying or selling real estate. Why? Because I have the perfect realtor and I always want friends to know about Maggie Ding. I bought my first condo without Maggie. My first realtor was fine, but as a first-time buyer, there were a lot of things I didn't know or understand. Looking back, there were certainly items that my first realtor could have pushed for me, but she didn't. She was simply a middle person in order to purchase the condo. This is the first Yelp review I've ever written, and I couldn't be more motivated to do so. I moved into my first home a couple weeks ago, a 4 br, 3.5 bath 2800 sq ft new construction home in North Redondo. My plan was initially to spend about 150-175% of what I paid to buy something similar in Hermosa/Manhattan, but after many long chats, Maggie helped me to realize this was the best decision for me. What kind of agent tries to convince you to earn them significantly less money? I would say this was one of the first decisions Maggie helped me with, but nope. She and I started our dialog a year earlier and it continued regularly way before she had any clue whether it would amount to anything. Yes Maggie is extremely knowledgeable, yes Maggie helped me find my dream home, yes she did everything that could ever be asked of a buyers agent. Pretty sure the previous 50 reviews above mine cover how great she is at all of that. I love Maggie for so much more than that though. Maggie Wang was our real estate agent when we sold our home in West Torrance and when we purchased our new home in the Hollywood Riviera. For both transactions, Maggie represented us exceptionally. Not living in the area looked on Yelp for a recommended realtor. Stumbled onto Maggie and hard to believe all the positive reviews. As many others have already said she is very good and deserving of all the praise people have wrote. Finally decided to put mom's house for sale but not in real rush to sell as I'd be basically the only one to clear out the house. I mean, how do you pick an agent where you dont live? Met with Maggie and she listened to my situation and was patient and offered suggestions on a plan of attack. First impression was impressive and her honesty and credentials was impressive. Once I finally cleared up most of inside house I gave Maggie a call. She got the needed things done inside the house while I cleared out the garage. Within a month the house was up for sale, accepted offer over asking price with no real comps in area ( so her research and experience was spot on). Communication was excellent the entire time and explained every option that came up. If I were to buy or sell a house again in the South Bay I'd most definitely hire Maggie. I'm not sure Maggie really needs another 5-star review here.. but she certainly deserves it. Maggie helped me sell my 2 bedroom condo in Playa Del Rey in 2015 while I was living in San Francisco. I'm no stranger to real estate and have dealt with many agents in the buying and selling process. I'm not unreasonable but I have high expectations for people doing their jobs well. Throughout the whole process, Maggie was friendly, smart, helpful, organized, proactive, HONEST, practical... anyone still reading this? What I appreciated the most was how well Maggie listened to me and was able to adapt to my style. I didn't need as much hand-holding as a first-time buyer but I like to know what's going on and make my own decisions. Maggie and Gina are the absolute best! When I started looking to buy my first home, I didn't know anything about the process, I barely even knew what I wanted. I tried meeting with a few random realtors that websites like Zillow suggest, but they were...not great. I got frustrated and literally Googled "Best realators in L.A." and Maggie was at the top of the list, so I called.The difference between them and Maggie was like night and day.
